Meeting with Ketya
Today was an outside shoot in Paddington by the canal across St Mary's hospital where a young girl, Ketya used to recieve chemo therapy treatment. Ketya is an 19 year old student who used to suffer from Sickle Cell disease but was cured by a bone marrow transplant. We took a walk by the canal as she opened up about her days when she used to suffer from Sickle Cell, her treatments and life after the disease. Yawer helped me with the filming, he took beautiful shots by the canal, lucky for us the weather was beautiful but there was a few strong winds!
