Know Your Genes is a short documentary that follows a young couple that are going to test for Sickle Cell trait in hopes of being able to start a family in the future. Through their journey we meet other young people who are affected by Sickle Cell in several ways. The journey explores what could be their fate if they start a family both carrying Sickle Cell traits. The documentary also places importance of Sickle Cell trait testing and raises awareness for Sickle Cell.
